María Teresa Samaranch y David Moner oyentes de excepción del Aula de Historia sobre “Joan Antoni Samaranch concejal de deportes del Ayuntamiento de Barcelona 1955-1961”

Juli Pernas, director de la Fundació Barcelona Olímpica, ha sido el encargado de hacer un breve resumen del paso de J.A. Samaranch como concejal de deportes. Destacando el ímpetu e interés de Samaranch por lanzar Barcelona como ciudad pionera en el deporte alojando grandes citas deportivas como los Juegos del Mediterráneo 1955.
Tras la ponencia, Joan Manuel Surroca ha moderado una mesa redonda compuesta por David Moner, presidente de honor de la UFEC y amigo de Samaranch, y los deportistas Tomás Barris y Jordi Bonareu que participaron en los JJMM de 1955.
