The executive committee of the International Society of Olympic Historians (ISOH) visits the Barcelona Olympic Foundation (FBO)

Juli Pernas, director of the FBO, received the delegation of ISOH members headed by American David Wallechinsky and German Christian Wacker, president and vicepresident respectively of the ISOH. The remaining members of the executive committee were Dr. Kostas Georgiadis (Greece), Anthony Th. Bijkerk (Holland), Volker Kluge (Germany), Leif Yttergren (Sweden) and Philip Barker (Great Britain).

The ISOH is the association of historians connected to the International Olympic Committee. The main task of this international association is the publication every four months of the Journal of Olympic History, a scientific journal devoted to the Olympic Games from a social sciences perspective.
