“Paris 2024: Games Wide Open” at the Olympic Museum of Barcelona

The opening of the exhibition was given by David Escudé, president of the Barcelona Olympic Foundation, and Olivier Ramadour, Consul General of France in Barcelona. And it was attended by Carles López, president of the Catalan Surf Federation; Josep Maria Moreno president of Catalan Sports Dance Federation, members of the board of trustees of the Barcelona Olympic Foundation and athletes among others.
The Paris 2024 Games, which will be held from 26 July and 11 August, will be the third time that Paris hosts Summer Olympics, while the Paralympic Games that will be held from 28 August to 8 September will be the first time that Paris will host them.
The 1900 Olympic Games in Paris were held at the Paris World’s Fair for more than five months. The 1924 Olympic Games, also held in Paris, were again connected with the Universal Exposition that took place in the city. The candidacy of Paris 2024 has been clear about the importance of opening the Games in the streets and significant places of the city of Paris with the intention of sharing the emotions generated by the organization of Games with the greatest number of people possible.

“Paris 2024: Games Wide Open” can be visited until March 2, 2025. This exhibition also has a family workshop desogmed for younger children in the home.
