Joan Lascorz Moreno, a prominent motorcycle racer, has made a significant donation to the Olympic and Sports Museum by contributing his racing suit from the 2022 Dakar Rally. This piece will be added to the museum’s permanent exhibition, which already includes suits from renowned racers such as Marc Márquez, Dani Pedrosa, Marco Simoncelli, Pedro de la Rosa, Nani Roma, Laia Sanz, and Carlos Sainz, etc,.
Lascorz’s gesture not only enriches the museum’s collection but also highlights his remarkable career in motor sports, particularly his participation in one of the world’s most challenging competitions, the Dakar Rally. being the first tetraplegic pilot to participate in this test.
This addition strengthens the mission of the Olympic and Sports Museum to preserve and disseminate the history and accomplishments of sports, offering a space where fans can connect with the feats of their idols.
