Rubén Peris was head of the cycling event at Barcelona’92. He later collaborated with the Spanish team, who have competed in world championships and the Olympic Games. He was also president of the Volta a Catalunya (Tour of Catalonia), one of the world’s most important professional stage races. Using this experience, he has put together a rich collection of objects and books on cycling and the Games that he has donated to the Olympic Museum and the Olympic Studies Centre.
