Awards Gala of the Catalan Open Water Swimming Circuit at the Olympic Museum of Barcelona

The first Awards Gala of the Catalan Open Water Swimming Circuit was held at the Olympic Museum of Barcelona, an event that gathered over 100 attendees, including awardees, clubs, members of the Catalan Swimming Federation (FCN), and family members, to recognize the effort and dedication of the swimmers during the 2024 season.

The awards were presented to the first-place finishers in the categories of Infantil, Júnior, Absoluto, and Máster, highlighting the results achieved and the hard work of the participants in the open water races. The ceremony was graced by the presence of FCN President Mr. Ramon Bosch and Mr. César Thovar, Territorial Representative for Sports in Barcelona, representing the Department of Sports of the Government of Catalonia.

This gala was not only a celebration of individual achievements but also a significant gathering of the open water swimming community, an afternoon full of emotion, where values such as perseverance and passion for the sport were shared. It also marked an important step in consolidating the circuit as a leading sports event in Catalonia, giving more visibility to the swimmers and clubs involved.

On behalf of the FCN, we want to congratulate all the winners, the organizing clubs, and especially the swimmers who make the continued success of the Catalan Open Water Swimming Circuit possible year after year.
