One of the most important collections displayed in the permanent exhibition at the Olympic and Sports Museum Juan Antonio Samaranch is that of Cobis and Petras, who were the official mascots of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic and Paralympic Games.
These resin figures were designed by the artist Javier Mariscal and produced by the company Pilma.
Before being displayed in the museum, the figures were exhibited in the Olympic Gallery and the Olympic Building, the base of the organising committee of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.
